Huge thanks to Ryan Taylor Racing for the continued partnership over the years. Excited for Ryan Taylor to be back in the seat 💪

While we are waiting on some parts to get our 410 rebuilt, we will be at this Saturday with our new venture in our own 360 car. This year will consist of a mixed schedule of both 360 & 410 racing for us and I am looking forward to getting it started. Monthly schedules of where we will be and when we will have our new merch with will be out soon !

CV’s can be big offenders of friction and wear... why... it all comes down to surface finish. Traditionally, CV’s have a complex geometry that is hard to machine so as roughness increases so does wear. If your grease fails at keeping the components properly toleranced, friction, heat and wear occur. The more optimized we can make a surface, the better duty cycle we can achieve though thermal and mechanical efficiency.

For those of you who have heard about before, but don’t know exactly what it is, is an process engineered to optimize functional surfaces. Parts that see rolling, taping, sliding, and bending fatigue will benefit from the resulting isotopic surface texture post process. This process is unlike traditional tumbling, where an abrasive media is used to grind away stock material. The ASF process uses high-density, non-abrasive media, along with our alloy specific chemistry to slowly work the asperities, or “peaks”, of a roughness profile. This plateau effect creates an optimized functional surface that allows lubricant to keep mating surfaces from any part to part asperity interference. When “peaks” of roughness profiles interfere friction occurs. This is the initiation of galling, spalling, pitting, and eventual failure.
