Let us vent here a minute,
Under no uncertain terms do we play favorites with anyone. We treat every kid the same, supply the same parts, karts and advice. We want all kids do do good and improve week to week whether the parents have spent a dime or not with us. Here is what we are not in control of:
MAINTENANCE! Start the year off like a rocket and slowly start getting slower.. that’s maintenance!
Nut and bolt, scale the car, change the oil, inspect for damage, l**e rod ends, check valve lash, ect ect ect. Some people race big cars and have a great weekly maintenance program in place, these are no different!
Talk to your driver about the weekend races, learn what they think they did and didn’t do wrong, help them understand something they did wrong and praise them for what they did right. Review and footage that is available to you with your driver, you’ll always see something you didn’t while watching them race and watch what what the others are doing to be successful, such as corner entries, setting up passes, restarts ect etc ect.
We are not playing favorites at all and if your getting beat by someone chances are they are doing all the above mentioned! If you’re struggling here’s what to do, stand in front of a mirror with your driver and fix the 1st two things you see. Not saying this to be disrespectful at all, saying this to help improve your program. If anyone ever has a question we’re always happy to answer as best as we can, there is only 2 of us at the tracks and you’ll never see us not running around trying to help everyone!
