May we always remember them, say their names, and tell their stories. Corey Dan was goofy kid who always made me laugh during a time in my life when there wasn’t much to laugh about. Born in 1895, Floyd Clymer was an ambitious young man whose name would go on to become synonymous with the manual. At 14 he became the youngest dealer in the country.

He would go on to race and sell and for years including winning the and many more.

At 33 he became a pilot. Today I got to look at his applications to the National Aeronautical Association, the predecessor to the , their letters in response, and his actual pilots license from 1929.
