1989 Porsche 928 came in for a full refresh here not long ago.

This car came to us with a list of issues, and we went through it top to bottom:

- Climate control and heater valve service
- Complete LED lighting upgrade with wiring fixes
- Full fuel line replacement for safety and reliability
- New fuel pump
- Oil pan gasket
- Timing belt and water pump service
- Brand new brakes
- ABS system repaired

The 928 is a special car, and it’s always rewarding to help keep classics like this on the road.

Dialed in and track-capable for this C8 Z06. Jumped in on some serious performance and drivability improvements.

✅ Long-tube headers and high-flow cats for improved exhaust scavenging and sharper throttle response

✅ OEM rear muffler retained to balance tone and livability

✅ Intake upgrade paired with 87mm ported throttle bodies and an electronic throttle controller for snappier response across the rev range

✅ Front-end protection via custom grille guards — critical for keeping the Z06’s exposed radiators safe at speed

✅ Suspension refinement using lowering collars (compatible with front nose lift) and 15mm spacers to correct the factory fender gap and bring the stance into alignment

✅ New plugs for optimized combustion and reliability

✅ A subtle duckbill spoiler adds rear-end stability and just enough visual edge

Overall, it is a perfect combination without getting too into the weeds

Way overdue, but welcome to Dusty’s Speed & Marine. A long time in the making... blood, sweat, oil (not all spilled/burned/leaked, thankfully).

This shop is my passion and my calling. I’ve been working on performance builds, maintenance, and custom upgrades for as long as I can remember. If it’s got an engine and needs to go faster, smoother, or last longer, I’m all about it.

Right now, we’ve got some solid projects rolling in—everything from routine service to full-blown upgrades. I’ll be sharing what’s happening in the shop, tips to keep your rig running right, and probably some things I learn along the way.
