Chris' 18ft flat bottom is more than sinister and strapped in the hull is 583 inches off BBC goodness topped with the crown jewel, a Hilborn EFI. Starr Performance Tuning and Consulting, LLC supplied the Hillbon EFI system back in the day and was tapped to perform the lake test and tune. After a proper rescale of the EFI tables, it was quickly determined that the O2 data was corrupted by the exhaust. Using driver feedback and plug reading, a tune was hammered out in VE. Wide open fueling had good O2 data and dialed in as expected.
Chris dreamed of one day having his own flat bottom to cruise the lakes in Oregon and with this over the top beauty, maybe he will instill another childs dream!

Jay's beautiful '55 Hardtop with a SBC and 5-speed is the perfect cruiser but it drank fuel like a sailor on leave. Starr Performance Tuning and Consulting, LLC identified issues with the part throttle O2 data. These inconsistencies requiring scaling the VE numbers to properly fuel the engine. Jay reports back that the car is super smooth and the mileage has increased dramatically!

Black cars with a red interior knock my socks off and David Greer's 1966 Fastback did exactly that! But the previous tune didn't provide the drivability or the extract the true performance potential of the ZSR Engines built 363cid SBF.
Starr Performance Tuning and Consulting, LLC started with a clean sheet by rescaling the tables to work with the Inglese IR system and provided a full drivability and performance tune on the Holley Terminator X system. David enlisted the help of grandson Zach Mitchamore who expertly eliminated several gremlins and provided the assist on the remote tune. Thanks Zach!

Brian Wisniewski's super sleek, triple black 1970 Monte Carlo SS is one of those cars were pictures just won't do it justice. It's sinister pro-street stance is only matched by the BluePrint Engines 540 with a very serious F2 ProCharger Superchargers !
Jon Schuchart of Schuchart Customs assembled all the goodness and took advantage of our comprehensive wire-to-wire technical and base calibration package as he installed the Holley Dominator EFI along with the 120lb/hr Fuel Injector Clinic injectors which were supplied by Starr Performance Tuning and Consulting, LLC
Although we weren't able to finish the drivability tune, Brian's Monte ran VERY stout! A stunning car with a top quality build....I can't wait to be in the presence of this black beauty once again!

As far as the Cobra tune, it dialed in beautifully with it's Terminator X! It hit the pipes like a Cobra should but drove smooth down the road. A fantastic ride for sure!

On location at Tony's Muscle Cars as we tune in the BluePrint Engines LS3 conversion with DBW throttle body, 6l80E transmission with a Terminator X in this one of a kind ‘70 Chevelle. Engine drivability was optimized including the DBW feel and yes the 6L80E too! These transmissions use unique virtual Torque and virtual TPS tables in the Holley software to maximize shift parameters for the best driving experience. We can also optimize the internal transmission ECU with HP tuners if need be. Don’t be anxious about using this great technology in your hot rod, Starr Performance Tuning and Consulting, LLC has the experience to make sure it runs the way you expect it to!

It's hard to imagine something sexier that a drop top '69 RS Camaro and this one for sure pushes all the buttons. Dave Wruble of Wruble Automotive noodles the details and his version of a LS swap is that clean factory look...mission accomplished! Dave also swapped in a 5-speed and juice clutch to enhance the driving experience. The Blue Print crate engine came with a Holley Terminator X and was supposed to have a decent calibration but the car barely ran. Starr Performance Tuning and Consulting, LLC updated the calibration, rescaled the tables and on the road we went. A complete drivability tune included clutch release optimization, drive-by-wire feel and of course some hard hits to make sure she was just right. And in this case if you tuned to stoich, you would be leaving a TON on the table.

Dave knows a great EFI tune only enhances his work and ensures a happy customer. Dave is one of my great installers who relies on us to make his work the best it can be. Thank you as always Dave and I am looking forward to our next project!

I love stack injection and when it's installed in one of my favorite cars, a '66 nova, it really doesn't get any better. After the craftsman at Herter Brothers Speed Shop expertly installed the Inglese 8-Stack system, Starr Performance Tuning was tasked with the set-up and tuning. This entails custom scaling of the calibration, timing synchronization along with butterfly/linkage synchronization. Finally a comprehensive drivability tune is performed to showcase the awesomeness that comes from a properly tuned IR manifold. This black Chevy II is now ready to steal the show whether the hood is up or down!

Dan’s self built ‘71 GMC 1500 hits the ground running with a supercharged SBC with a Holley Sniper. Poor performance, stalling along with popping out of the supercharger at throttle input plagued his build even after being worked on by two previous EFI tuners. Dan had lost all confidence in his ride.

Starr Performance Tuning and Consulting, LLC was recommended as the last attempt before removal of the EFI system. Careful inspection along with calibration updates were performed before a vigorous road test for finally tuning. Dan’s GMC now runs as it should with plenty of power and no more stalling or popping allowing him the confidence to take his awesome ride anywhere he likes.
