I would like to personally reach out and warmly welcome back all of the former Wulf Pack members to the Volkswagen community. Many of us shared incredible memories together — from the road trips to Bug Jam, weekends in Biloxi, No Dough, and all the laughs, late nights, and friendships built along the way. Those were special times that helped shape who we are as enthusiasts and as friends.
Today, we are stepping forward into a new chapter. Under new leadership and a renewed vision, Emerald Coast Volkswagen (formerly Rare Air VW) is evolving into something even stronger — a more diverse, inclusive, and family-friendly club built on respect, integrity, and community. While the name and structure may have changed, the passion for Volkswagens and the camaraderie that brought us together in the first place remains the same.
What does this new outlook mean? It means we are committed to creating a positive environment where everyone feels welcome and valued. There is zero tolerance for sexism, racism, or inappropriate behavior of any kind. Our goal is to foster a culture where families, longtime enthusiasts, newcomers, and friends alike can gather, share knowledge, enjoy events, and build lasting friendships around our shared love of Volkswagen.
As the new president of Emerald Coast Volkswagen — and as someone who was once part of the Pack myself — this invitation comes from the heart. I remember the good times just like you do. I would truly love to see you guys and gals get involved again, even if it’s just stopping by for a meeting or two to reconnect. There’s no pressure — just an open door and a genuine invitation.
The Volkswagen community has always been about more than cars. It’s about people. It’s about showing up for each other, turning wrenches together, road-tripping together, and making memories that last a lifetime.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope to see some familiar faces soon and build new memories together.
With respect and appreciation,
Jeffrey BrownPresidentEmerald Coast Volkswagen
