I was skeptical about sharing these photos I took after Katrina but I’ve been asked several times so here they are. I’m sharing a few of the pics I’ve taken. I hope this doesn’t upset anyone. We all went through some very hard times but here we are. We survived Hurricane Katrina.

The Skittles Racing Team will be headed to see if we can a get in downtown Gulfport this morning. It’s kind of doubtful because sure it’s usually packed before we make it that far. But that’s okay because we have plenty of cruising to do all week.
Yesterday was a great day with perfect weather. I want to commend Chevron for opening up a super nice gas station at the corner of Debuys and 90. I see this as becoming a CTC hot spot. That’s where I took these pics. Plenty of gas pumps including several ethanol free pumps, the ones with a blue handle. The inside of the store serves food which was actually fantastic. I had fried pork chops, mashed potatoes and gravy, and some peas which was great. I’ll likely go back there and eat lunch again today. Even had fried shrimp in there that looked very tasty, my next meal. This station is on 90 just before you get to Cruise Central.
Yall have a great day and stay safe out there. Skittles on the way!
