E Sheep Farms is currently in the process of reinventing itself. My heart has been and always will be embedded in agriculture. My current situation does not have enough room for livestock; BUT, small scale farming will continue. I will be keeping this page while I am in flux. I have a lot of pictures and memories thus far. Stay tuned for updates. I am not going away anytime soon.

Just back from Bowman Meat in Cottonwood: 5 lambs, all raised on grass and alfalfa yielding 54 #, 56 #, 61 #, 62 # & the runt at 36 # and all of them 5 months old. Not bad.

Whew what a busy day... 5 lambs to the processor, ewes and ram vaccinated, dewormed and feet trimmed. Plus hubby's cloth...

If anyone is interested in grass fed, pasture raised lamb for the freezer, I have lamb. They will be ready for the freezer the end of October. I will feed them until they are ready. You will get to choose how you want it cut and packaged. Price is $500, this includes cut/wrap/freeze and the butchering. Deposit required. My lambs are Dorper and White Dorper. This is a very mild tasting, tender meat. You will be pleased. 530-394-7769

Last set of twins showed up tonight a ewe and a ram. That makes 5 total, 2 ewe lambs and 3 ram lambs. I'll post pictures tomorrow. I didn't have my camera on me when I went to check on everyone.
