Lots of questions about the  Watch app. Here’s the info you need to know. You will need a Watch 6 on Watch OS11+ or newer. Then you have to go to the on you iPhone and update your Tesla App to version 4.39.5. Now that your iPhone app is updated you will need to ensure the Watch app is installed if you don’t have auto download turned on.

Now let’s talk about what your Watch can do. Well nothing. Just yet, but status. Your car will need to be running the holiday update. Coming soon maybe 2 weeks 🙂

Now what will the watch app be able to do. For legacy just unlock/lock car and see battery. For non legacy/ hardware 4
You can lock/unlock car, open frunk, activate climate, and by scrolling down to the second page on watch open/close trunk, open/close charging port, flash the lights and honk the horn.

For legacy cars feeling bad look up Siri Shortcuts.

And finally for Powerwall 2+ owners you can see the status of your Powerwalls.

Now you can order a new S/X with a round steering wheel or Yoke (no cost for either). The Tesla “T” removed on rear and letters on appliqué now in silver. Existing Refresh S/X owners can buy a retrofit round wheel from the store for $700 from the Tesla Shop when back in stock (March).
