Awful rusty seal replaced! These edge seals have a steel backing that rusts over time. I destroyed one of the new ones already - at $170 each they are also really fragile. “Good enough” is good enough here 😅

Tech tip: Measuring battery drain is easy! Disconnect the negative battery cable. Connect your multimeter leads to the battery terminal and battery lead. Set your meter to "DC Amps" and connect to the negative and 10A connections. The readout is in amps DC. It takes a modern car about 10-15 min to totally "sleep". Drain went from .99 A to almost nothing! Luckily my problem last weekend was not persistent!

I just watched a man almost put his family into a concrete wall on I-15 when he swerved while braking.

The instinct to steer away from the obstacle is strong - you must fight this. You have the most traction steering straight ahead, with strong, steady brake pressure. Swerving puts all the weight on one tire, and as you leave the clean pavement you lose more traction due to gravel and sand. In all, hold it straight ahead and brake hard (but don’t jab at the pedal).
