The Fair Deal Open, sponsored by Gregg Young Automotive Group, is an annual golf tournament held in memory of Ed Young. Young’s association with Omaha Home for Boys dates back to the 1950s when he and his two brothers lived at OHB. Young was actively involved with OHB for many years and his legacy lives on through The Fair Deal Open. Please join us at The Fair Deal Open where all proceeds benefit

One week ago today. ❤️⛳

As we've been looking back through the photos from this year's Fair Deal Open, these moments have become some of our favorites.

Seeing the youth from Omaha Home for Boys out on the driving range, learning from the pros, laughing with one another, trying something new, and simply enjoying the day is what this event is truly about.

These smiles don't happen by accident.

They happen because of you.

Because you sponsored.
Because you donated.
Because you played.
Because you volunteered.
Because you believe in the mission of Omaha Home for Boys.

Your generosity creates opportunities that extend far beyond one day on the golf course. It helps provide mentorship, life skills, encouragement, and hope for young people who deserve every opportunity to succeed.

What an incredible day it has been.

From registration this morning, to lunch, the shotgun start, and now wrapping up an amazing day on the course, the 2026 Fair Deal Open has been everything we hoped it would be.

It has been wonderful to see so many friends, families, community leaders, sponsors, and supporters come together, including so many members of the Ed Young family, to honor Ed’s legacy and continue the mission that meant so much to him.

Today has been about much more than golf.

It has been about community.
It has been about giving back.
It has been about changing lives through the work of Omaha Home for Boys.

From all of us, thank you for making this such a special day. We are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you, and we can’t wait to finish the evening together with dinner, the raffle, and our live auction.

Tomorrow is the BIG DAY, and a lot of you remember Taegen and his powerful story.

His words still say it best:

“You guys have really changed my life.”

That is what the Fair Deal Open is all about.

Yes, it is a great day of golf. Yes, it is a fun day with friends, sponsors, and community partners. But at the heart of it, this event exists to support the youth, young adults, and families served by Omaha Home for Boys.

This year, we are especially excited for everyone to hear from Tommie and her story.

Her journey is another reminder of why this mission matters, why this day matters, and why your support makes a real difference.

In just a few days, we will come together for the 2026 Fair Deal Open.

And while it will be a great day of golf, fun, fellowship, and friendly competition, the reason behind this event is so much bigger.

We are coming together to carry on the story and impact of Ed Young.

As a young boy, Ed and his brothers found refuge at Omaha Home for Boys after losing their mother at a very young age. OHB became a place of safety, structure, hope, and opportunity — helping shape Ed into the man, father, leader, and community builder so many people came to know and love.

Years later, Ed never forgot the role OHB played in his life.

That is why the Fair Deal Open means so much.

It is more than a golf tournament.

It is a way to honor Ed’s story.
It is a way to support the next generation.
It is a way to help provide hope, guidance, and opportunity for youth, young adults, and families who need it most.

We are officially ONE MONTH AWAY from the 2026 Fair Deal Open, and we cannot wait to welcome everyone back to Oak Hills Country Club.

We’re excited to see all of our OHB and Gregg Young friends and family again as we check you in on Monday, July 13, 2026, and kick off another incredible day together in honor of Ed Young’s legacy.

There’s nothing quite like seeing the room come together for the Fair Deal Open.

We’re already looking forward to setting the tables again for the 2026 Fair Deal Open and welcoming back our OHB and Gregg Young friends and family for another unforgettable day.

From a great round of golf to great food, conversation, laughter, and memories made together, this event is always about more than what happens on the course. It’s about community.
