Acura MDX Suspension Rattle

Marshall had a problem… and it was getting seriously annoying

His Acura MDX developed a rhythmic knocking sound that was most noticeable at low speeds. After a little diagnosis, I found the culprit: worn sway bar end links.

Fortunately, this is a relatively quick, simple, and affordable repair that got rid of that annoying suspension rattle.

While we had it in the shop, we also knocked out an oil change and gave the MDX a little interior & exterior detail. Because if you're going to leave the shop, you might as well leave looking good! ✨

Marshall is now ready to hit the road for many more miles.

Looks can be deceiving 👀

Isaac's Honda Civic Si just got a new lease on life.

Over the past few weeks, I've been bringing this sport sedan back to life with a pretty extensive list of repairs and upgrades:

This was a really cool project to be a part of. When you break down the cost of the repairs, keeping this Civic on the road made perfect sense.

It's rust-free, it's a fun Honda sedan, and with proper care, I think this one will age incredibly well. We all know 200,000 miles is just getting started for these Hondas.

I'm so glad we were able to give this Civic the attention it deserved and keep another great car on the road. 🇯🇵

The official sports car of Garage 531 🏁

1995 Nissan 240SX

This car was swapped in 2016. It truly is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

SR20DET swap, matching 5-speed transmission, limited-slip differential, ice-cold A/C, and a whole lot more. The build list for this car is insane.

Originally this car would have a non turbo motor making 150hp. Now, It's closer to 300 horsepower

Over the past year, I've been working to bring this one up to my standards. I've fixed every leak, replaced the clutch and turbo, and upgraded just about everything along the way.

The result? One seriously fun driver's car.

This 240SX has made incredible progress over the past year, and I'm finally ready to get out and put some miles on this classic. 😎

I always enjoy this show. You meet some of the best people and get to see some truly amazing builds.

I thought the built second-gen Miata was going to be my favorite… until I saw that Bel Air wagon. That one stole the show for me!

The OEM+ engine bay with the LS swap was beautifully done, and the full-custom interior took it to another level. Such a cool car with so much attention to detail.

A few photos from Supercar Saturday 8.8.26!

This is one of my favorite events in Omaha. You get a chance to check out some incredibly unique vehicles, and the owners are always up for a good conversation.

For me, the highlight of this show was meeting the owner of this uber rare 400-horsepower WRX STi Type R.

That's a mouthful!

Jayme has a true passion for racing and has built this car from the ground up, including the engine. And you can tell he knows his stuff. He walked me through what it takes to reliably make 400 horsepower out of these cars, and the attention to detail is incredible.

The car is absolutely immaculate, and the owner is the real deal.

I can't wait to see where Supercar Saturday goes next!

The FK8 Honda Civic Type R🔥

This car is seriously underrated in my opinion.

306 horsepower, 6-speed manual transmission, and incredible handling. The FK8 checks a lot of boxes for a true driver’s car.

Brett’s Civic Type R is modified in all the right ways. Everything is tastefully done with a focus on improving the driving experience without taking away from what makes this car special.

I swapped out the factory shift cables and installed a new Acuity shifter assembly. The result is a smoother, faster, and more precise shifting experience. An excellent upgrade for the FK8 platform!
