Loaded up our color override 1969 factory blue/red base coupe. We are looking forward to the 400 mile drive to St. Louis next week and we are honored to have our car in the Gold Collection. A special thanks to our dear friend Mike McFarland for lending us his trailer.

Thanks to our friends at Intercity for safely delivering our 1967 Malibu from….drum roll…..Malibu, CA. We will get some video posted after Bloomington, but this Butternut Yellow black plated CA car started life as a 283 powerglide 10-bolt. You know we love original, but could not resist this transplant drivetrain of over the counter XCH LS-7, M-22 and 4:11 12 bolt. More to come.

We BUY clean original documented 1960s and 1970s Chevrolets. The Omaha Speed Shop is dedicated to the preservation, maintenance and restoration of original cars. We appreciate LS swaps and restomods, but we will leave that work for others to handle. We love original! We were blessed in 2026 to find a number of great C1, C2 and C3 Corvettes.

We need your help to locate this 1967 white/white Z-28. Someone knows where this car is. It sold in March 2017 and was part of a very special aspect of 1967 Z-28 history. As Jerry described them in his book, he called them the “sisters” as they were sequentially built and ordered from Indian River Chevrolet. One white and one red. We own the red one and want to bring these two cars back together. Please share this post to help us locate it. Much thanks.
