Oakley Pioneer Days Celebration & Rodeo Join us July 10-18, 2026 as Oakley Pioneer Days celebrates our Western heritage with parades, rodeos, bump-n-rub car races, and family-friendly fun. Since 1882.

Hosted by the Oakley Vigilantes, we honor tradition and build community year after year. Oakley Pioneer Days by the Oakley Vigilantes is a celebration of community, tradition, and western heritage that brings Oakley to life every July. Since 1882, this cherished event has been a cornerstone of Southern Idaho, featuring a wide array of activities that draw locals and visitors alike. From thrilling

events like the Bump-n-Rub Car Races to the electrifying Open Rodeo, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Kick off the week with exciting competitions such as the Gymkhana Youth Rodeo, showcasing the talents of our young cowboys and cowgirls, and the Tractor Pulls, where powerful machines take center stage. Families can gather for fun community events like the Cornhole Tournament, the 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, and the Lawn Volleyball Tournament—perfect for spectators and participants alike. Don’t miss the Pioneer Day Parade, a vibrant procession down Oakley’s Main Street that captures the heart of our celebration. Start your mornings at the Chuckwagon Breakfast, enjoy live music and dancing at the Street Dance, and experience the camaraderie of the community with our Team Sorting Night. As the sun sets, the festivities continue with fireworks lighting up the night sky, capping off a week of unforgettable memories. As America celebrates 250 years, we look forward to honoring the values, traditions, and community spirit that continue to shape both our nation and our small town way of life.

From rodeos and parades to fireworks and family traditions, Oakley Pioneer Days has always been about bringing people together to celebrate freedom, heritage, and the western lifestyle we love.

The Gymkhana (Youth Rodeo) will start registering for our events on Wednesday July 1st at 12:01 AM. Registration will end at 11:30 PM on Monday July 13th.

The Oakley Vigilantes met last night and are proud to announce that there will be NO ticket price increases for Oakley Pioneer Days 2026.
We recognize it has already been a difficult year for many in our agriculture-based community with rising fuel costs and increasing expenses affecting families across our area. Because of the incredible support of our sponsors, volunteers, and community partners, we are grateful to continue providing a two full weekends of entertainment while keeping admission prices the same as they have been the last several years.
