Realized I didn’t do a 2022 wrap up post, but it’s been a busy fall/winter of Karting and Skiing with ! 2022 has had it’s usual highs and lows, but we are constantly learning and growing. Sometimes I feel like “sending it” with my car would be fun and accelerate things, but I have other more important things to spend time and money on. I also enjoy working with all my guys that have their own vision and helping them to achieve it. I’m still humbled by how far we have come. My guys have managed to win every A90 race except TX2K (one day we will come more prepared), held the title of quickest and fastest, fastest stock turbo (no n2O), quickest and fastest stock engine and half of top 20 list which is currently all 8 sec cars.
Thank you for trusting in me in 2022 and I can’t wait to see what we do in 2023!

(Can’t list everyone… you can give me s**t later)

I decided to come to The Shootout as it is close to my parents and a good weekend to do some testing. Testing went well and I’m always happy to learn and improve. The car was running consistent, so I gave my self a chance at a win. I wasn’t the fastest car, but was somehow able to get the W.
Big shoutout to the guys for all the help and hospitality this weekend.
Good luck at FL2K!

First time driving my own car in a while… working on some launch control. Track isn’t great, but having multiple means to control the launch allows for consistency and hopefully better lights.

As a lot of your may know… I am a coffee snob. My morning coffee is time to reflect on things and prepare for the day ahead. I have been thinking today about what make a “good” tune. I don’t need to make the “most power” or the “fastest 60-130” or set some macro or micro record nor do I usually set out to do that. If it happens, it happens, if not that’s fine. I also don’t need to tune every car… I have more than enough to keep me busy and would like to actual get back to riding my bike again (Life Balance… and keeping up with my 8 year old). I strive to have a balance of safe, fast and a well mannered driving experience with my tunes.
What is your judge of what’s makes a tune “good”?

I’m finally getting caught up a little to be able to sit down and reflect on the last race at MIR. This year has been a big step forward in the A90 world. teaming up with and to make the Reflex work on this platform has been great. I’ve been running Port Injection on my car almost as long as I’ve owned it. The AIC worked, but it was a constant balancing act to get fueling where I was happy with it. One issue was that you couldn’t run proper flex fuel with it and there were many things it was not compensating for.
We started off the year well debuting both the 3.2L Strokers built by and the reflex with some success, but had a few tuning related things happen that we couldn’t explain. Through testing and help from the team, we finally pin pointed what was going on and implemented the appropriate fixes. This time also allowed us to work on using the reflex for boost and nitrous control via ECUtek RaceRom.
Norris and I go into these race to implement new advancements and win the race. Going fast and/or set records is a by product. This is shown by the fact that our cars (including my red car) consistently qualify well and go rounds at the races. Norris has made it to the finals at every event we have attended.
When the car ran the 8.56 pass… I didn’t even think it was that fast. The run was side by side with Norris and he was all excited as he saw the time on the board. With the advancements happening on this platform, I’m sure the record time will keep dropping. It’s mind blowing that less than a year ago we were excited to just run an 8.9x and that it takes better than an 9.6x to get on the top 20 list.
Big thanks to for trusting us with his car, this was for you!!
FL2K loading… stay tuned!

Jack’s transmissions testing update… we decided to swap in the latest Jacks Transmissions] build into the car for the race. The trans worked flawless the whole weekend and we look to push it harder when we turn the car up at the race coming up in a few weeks.

We had a good time race in St. Louis! I’ll start my recap with my personal car that was driven by .
The car pretty much had sat since TX2K, but we dusted it off to see what it would do with a little refinement of the Reflex system using the Racerom. Still being on a stock long block, stock frame turbo and no nitrous, we weren’t expecting to win against the big guns. We updated the reflex and made a few hits on the dyno and things looked good. We didn’t think we we were going to PR with the car in the heat, but Alan managed to get a good launch and ran a 9.39@146, which is the fastest the car has ever run. This is the fastest stock frame turbo car with no nitrous and it ran pretty consistent all weekend. The Pure850 spools well at launch and provides plenty of power. The worked flawless and the manifold kept the 90+deg heat at bay.
We qualified P6 and made it all the way to the semi finals where we were taken out by Norris in the car. Not a bad outing all around.
We will be running it on Weds to shoot for a 9’s pass at altitude… then FL2K.
