This happened in Oregon where they allow concealed carry permit holders to carry inside public and private schools. This should be allowed everywhere. We'll never know how many lives were saved because of this legally armed citizen inside the school. Article:

So if you carry in MI at a place that the government has determined a "no fi****ms allowed" area, and you use it to protect yourself from a violent attack, you will be fined up to $500 and your concealed carry license suspended for 6 months. If you concealed carry in one of these restricted places, your fi***rm could/would be confiscated. It's always the good guy that gets punished.
