First Car Week officially in the books.

A huge thank you to RDS for the opportunity to experience such an incredible week. So many great memories were made, both personally and professionally.

It was great to finally meet people face to face that I’ve done business with remotely, be welcomed into the manufacturers’ houses for private events and unveilings, experience The Quail and Pebble Beach firsthand with incredible hospitality, and make some great memories with coworkers along the way.

I also attended my first auction and got to experience the energy, excitement, and intensity of bidding on some truly special cars.

And Carmel itself is something special… tasteful, beautiful, and filled with great businesses and people.

Being surrounded by this level of success and achievement can affect people differently. For me, it does the opposite of creating jealousy or resentment. It gives me an incredible amount of motivation. It makes me want to work harder, push to the next level, learn as much as I possibly can, and continue raising my own expectations for what I can accomplish.

Thank you to everyone I was able to catch up with, meet for the first time, and spend time with throughout the week.

Already looking forward to next year… if I’m lucky enough to get another invite. 😜

Congratulations to my repeat client on his new 2026 Lotus Emira Turbo SE.

If you haven’t driven one of these yet, do yourself a favor and give it a try. The AMG turbo powertrain mated to the DCT is very sharp. It gives you McLaren like turbo noise and an exotic feel. Pair that with Hydraulic steering and the sport suspension and you have a great drivable, sports car. This car really is for the drivers 🏁

This example is finished in Mist White with the tan interior, a classic combo. It has the black package for the roof, sport suspension, KEF Audio, and more.

My client that took delivery of his 70th anniversary PCA Club coupe has been lucky enough to win the lottery for all 3 allocations of 50, 60, and 70th cars so I figured I would give him a chance to win some cash also.

I created this gift using the 3 colors of the Club Coupes and the numbers chosen are made up of his VIN’s, the year edition, and model codes from Porsche’s system for each!

The 50th anniversary was finished in Azurro California which is the top color.

The 60th anniversary was finished in Club Blau which is the middle color.

The 70th anniversary was finished in Sholar Blue which is the bottom color.

Unfortunately we didn’t win however it was fun to dream and a gift he can keep forever.

Had an incredible 24 hours behind the wheel of the McLaren Automotive 750S Spider while supporting the Cars4Cause charity event at 9 Prime. 🤝

Anyone who knows me knows that while Porsche Main Line is home base, I have a deep appreciation for what McLaren continues to accomplish.

In a world where manufacturers are adding hybrid complexity, EV variants, weight, and layers of regulation, McLaren somehow managed to deliver this absolute weapon of a supercar… a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 producing 740 horsepower, wrapped around a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, and weighing just 2,923 lbs.

Of course the performance is staggering, but what stood out most is how enjoyable the car is at everyday speeds. Between idle and 5,000 RPM, you still get the sounds, sensations, and engagement of a true sports car all while constantly feeling like you’re one throttle input away from a court date. That’s impressive in a car capable of 206 mph.

The chassis is razor sharp yet totally street friendly, and the hydraulic steering delivers the kind of feedback that has become increasingly rare in modern performance cars. Even more impressive, the Spider sacrifices nothing in structural rigidity compared to the Coupe, making the top down experience feel truly uncompromised.

The 7-speed DCT delivers shifts violent enough to save you a trip to the chiropractor, while the soundtrack between gear changes is downright intoxicating. Catch the perfect throttle input at the right RPM and each paddle pull is rewarded with a thunderous crack from behind your head that’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

I know this is a departure from my usual content, but I wanted to give a well-deserved round of applause to McLaren Automotive for building a car that stays true to the spirit of a pure sports car, even with a 2026 model year attached to it.

I can say for certain the 720S/750S has earned a permanent spot on my future dream garage list. Every time I get behind the wheel, that is reaffirmed 🧡
