I need to upgrade my camera, but only because it's getting old and I have put her through a lot, and she has been a perfect little workhorse for me. My camera has not changed but my images have grown so much over the years. Weirdly enough, so have I. Funny how that works.

Fast Friday was NUTS. I parked in the golf course lot behind Turn 2, and showed the yellow shirt my hard card, explaining to him that I had to pick up a parking pass from the team but I had to park before I did it. He waved me through, but someone was ahead of me talking to another yellow shirt so my yellow shirt yelled ahead to him, "She's cool, Jerry!" Even though 2017 has been a weird and confusing and bleak whirlwind of political turmoil, it has finally started to look up. IT'S THE MONTH OF MAY IN INDIANAPOLIS AND I ONCE AGAIN HAVE A REASON TO BREATHE! Perhaps I am being a smidge dramatic, but it just feels so good to be home. I came out to the track yesterday because I've been substitute teaching and the classroom I was supposed to be in no longer needed me to cover, so I took it as a sign that the universe wanted me to go to the track.
