An Evo 9 bottom-mount turbo kit repositions the turbocharger low in the engine bay to maintain a factory-like center of gravity, clear up room in the engine bay, and retain vital functions like air conditioning. Choosing a bottom-mount configuration typically yields between 400 to over 800+ horsepower depending on your chosen turbo size.

Standard Kit Components
-Tubular Manifold: High-flow, equal-length 304 stainless steel piping to reduce exhaust restriction.
-V-Band Downpipe: Typically 3-inch piping that clears the AC compressor and connects to your exhaust.
-External Wastegate: Fl**ged for common 44mm/45mm units with optional hood exit dump tubes.
-Line Kits & Intercooler Pipes: Braided oil feed/return lines, water lines, and a custom lower intercooler pipe.

Critical Installation Clearances:
-Air Conditioning: Most kits are specifically designed to clear the AC compressor, but you may need to gently bend the hard lines away from the wastegate.
-Cooling Space: Larger bottom-mount turbos often require swapping to a slim radiator fan or an Evo 4/5/6 style radiator layout to avoid contact.
