At the time, his uncle had a 30-foot Trojan full of teak decks, toe rails and such, and as an eager kid, Carl attempted much of the maintenance himself. arl has bought and rehabbed over 13 boats for his personal use. If you've seen Billy Joel, Blood Sweat & Tears or Diana Ross in the last decade, you have seen, and certainly heard, Carl Fischer, world-class horn player. Balancing his love for music and boats, he currently owns a 35-foot Bertram Convertible mark II Sportfish and 20-foot AquaSport Osprey. Carl's firsthand experience as a buyer allows him to organically connect with his customers and represent their best interests as his own. Sharing his expertise not only of the purchase, but the care, refit and ongoing maintenance allows him to provide the overall picture to his buyers. As a liaison for Bertram Service Center in Tampa, Fl, Carl has first-hand knowledge and resources to ensure an experience continuum. It all seems to work together for the big picture, your enjoyment! Carl currently holds a U.S. Coast Guard 100-ton Master Captain's License and has captained everything from Viking sportfisherman to NY water taxi's. Yachting magazine published an interview with Carl in the November 2014 issue and asked, "What's your favorite on-the-water memory?" Carl's response, "When I got married." Carl and wife-to-be, lived on the water in Freeport NY, with their Chris Craft slipped in the backyard. He took the boat to a local restaurant and the two got hitched right then and there. From Florida to his original home waters of Long Island, NY, Carl concentrates on getting the right Vessel for his clients as well as being an understanding broker for the seller, wherever the vessel might be! His employment with the Richard Bertram Yachts sales offices, combined with Carl's experienced broker network and expansive travels and marine/music relationships, it's all a home run. Carl is a firm believer in establishing relationships, and always being transparent. He is eager to earn your trust, one yacht at a time!
