On location today doing a mobile repair on a Maserati GT.
The first photo shows the Ferrari engine that came in this car. It’s the exact same engine that came in the Ferrari F430 but with a Maserati manifold. At the end you will find a bonus video of a cold start of this engine. The customer was proud to point out that nobody with a Maserati GT ever needed an after market exhaust upgrade!!

My Saab story of the day. Never actually worked on a Saab before and man, it was a pleasure! Plenty of access. This one had over a dozen dings on it, and I spent half a day on it to get it all straightened out. The owner was my age and also from Queens so we were having a blast the whole time.

Throwback Thursday! My 20 year old daughter just got back from Spring Break in Florida. It hit me just now that she is the same age I was when I drove my hot pink 1970 Chevelle from Long Island down to Daytona Beach for Spring Break back in like, 1990 or 1991. So I dug up these old photos of my car on the beach back when you could just literally drive on the beach. And then I immediately explained: “DON’T EVER LAY ON A HOOD OF A CAR OR SIT ON THE FENDER!! Yes, we used to be able to do that, but our cars were solid thick metal! Today if you sit on a hood, you destroy it and you need a new hood.

Yes, my car was hot pink. With corvette wheels. And it was a badass car. Deal with it. Shout out to my two friends and ex-gf in the pics who will remain nameless. I’m not in any pic cuz I was always the photographer.

SRT Challenger with a 3-step candy pedal burgundy paint job, that received a ding eight on the body line. It is so hard to match this type of paint that if you had to use traditional body work, you’d really have to repaint the entire side of the car as there is no easy way to blend this type of translucent pearlescent paint. Extra care and patience was needed to remove this sharp impact on the pushed in body line.
