We recently recalibrated the adaptive cruise control eyesight camera and the wide-angle "mono" camera on a 2024 Subaru Impreza @ Blondin Brothers Auto Body in Williston.

Interestingly, the mono camera on your windshield provides a broad, short-range field of view to enhance detection of pedestrians, bicyclists, and cross-traffic at intersections. It also assists with low-speed maneuvering, emergency braking, and covering peripheral blind spots that primary, narrower-angle cameras miss.

It's amazing how much technology is in our windshields today! And very important to keep calibrated correctly, since we do learn to rely on the various sounds and signals that our vehicle's systems use to notify us of things we cannot - or do not - see.

REMINDER! We're now on the road, coming to body shops to perform ADAS diagnostics, calibrations, and programming!
