BBB has determined that Schaller Auto World Inc. dba Schaller Honda meets BBB accreditation standards, which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. BBB Accredited Businesses pay a fee for accreditation review/monitoring and for support of BBB services to the public. Schaller Oldsmobile, Incorporated was founded in New Britain in the spring of 1953 by Gustave Schaller as a small, family-owned dealership to serve the automotive needs of a growing community. In its first year of business, Schaller Oldsmobile employed eight people and sold approximately 200 new and used vehicles. As the marketplace has grown, so has the company. Schaller Honda was added in the Spring of 1977. A new 20,000 square foot Honda building was constructed for the spring of 1982. In the fall of 1982, Schaller Subaru was founded. In 1985 a new 20,000 square foot Subaru facility similar to the Honda building was constructed. In 1986, the addition of Acura to our selection of car lines extended our facilities into Manchester. The Body Shop was moved to its new modern facility behind the Honda building in 1990. Schaller Mitsubishi was founded in the late fall of 1991 making Schallers a five-franchise operation.
