THANK YOU to all of our Hunger Heroes who made our 10th year a huge success! Whether you volunteered at the Food Drop, helped package meals this past Saturday, hosted or donated to a food drive, sponsored our event, or volunteered for the planning committee - we are so THANKFUL for you this Thanksgiving season!

Yesterday we finished delivering the 1,000 Thanksgiving meals for families to enjoy this season!

Your welcome!

A big thank you to our friends at Neighborhood Auto Services, Inc. for the Christmas gift of an oil change for our van!!! We use our van to move our volunteers to work project sites as well as to provide transportation for our clients to work when needed. It is an important part of our operation.

We have seen an average of 15 volunteers for the last couple of Saturdays in the new year. They have been cleaning the grounds at the The Salvation Army, New Bedford MA and picking up litter in the downtown City of New Bedford area.

All of our volunteers have experienced homelessness at one time or another. Our mission at Works 4 U is to end homelessness through employment. If you’re looking for yard work, painting, or carpentry give us a call or message us! We have some reliable and hardworking people who can get the job done!

These wheels have become so important to our mission! With them, we have been able to transport our crew around to various local community service projects like Sharing the Harvest Community Farm. They also provide support for those in the group that need transportation to and from work.
