Let the Birthday Celebrations begin! Happy Birthday USA! Pitbike Des Nations XVI will be celebrating American milestone birthdays all year culminating with a big birthday party on race weekend October 23-24! Today though, we focus our celebrations on America's BIG 250! Happy 4th of July to all of you out there we hope you make it a weekend to remember! 📢🚨🎂🏁THE WAIT IS OVER THIS IS THE ANNOUNCEMENT THAT THE OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS WERE ANNOUNCING🏁🎂🚨📢

‼️America is celebrating its 250th birthday‼️
‼️Historic Route 66 is celebrating its 100th‼️
‼️And Pitbike Des Nations will be celebrating its 16th birthday‼️

Its just a birthday kind if year and we plan to celebrate as many birthdays as possible for this historic year of birthdays! When is the big birthday party you ask? Well of course its going to be the weekend of Pitbike Des Nations XVI! And that weekend is officially being announced right now as the Weekend of:

•Friday October 23 & Saturday October 24 at what has become the proud home of Pitbike Des Nations the CENTRAL ILLINOIS MOTORCYCLE CLUB

So come celebrate Pitbike Des Nations officially being old enough to drive, and get ready for a weekend of whats sure to be some exciting racing and world class hijinks! Its still very early in the process but we wanted to get the dates out as soon as we could so you can get it in your calendars. Stay tuned for more messaging that will be coming out over the next few months and please spread the word SHARE SHARE SHARE and help us make our 16th year the biggest and best year yet! Big thanks to all of our fans, riders, sponsors, and followers who've helped get us to where we are now and where we will continue to go. Nobody loves making announcements more than the crew here at Pitbike Des Nations, so we're making this announcement to let you know we'll be making an announcement tomorrow about an announcement we'll be making on Sunday! So there you have it folks today's huge announcement the bigggest announcement we've made since the last big announcement we made last year. We want to take sometime to thank the amazing people and companies that support Pitbike Des Nations. Without them it wouldn’t be possible to have this event and give back to the community.

Pilson Powersports once again was our title sponsor for the event, and gave us plenty of awesome items to giveaway.
Strider Bikes was back for a second year and provided us with more bikes and ramps for the kids zone! (More giveaways coming soon for the holidays)
House Brothers Tavern hosted rider appreciation night once again giving us a great warm up party for the weekend.
1st Class Wrecker Service donated lights and hay bales for both race days.
Harris Metals was back letting us use his trailer for a stage and being a long time supporter of PBDN.
CENTRAL ILLINOIS MOTORCYCLE CLUB for hosting the event for the third year in a row and giving us anything we need to make a great fun race.
We also want to thank, Jeff and Lena Eaton, Total Home and Farm Video Solutions, JanesB3 Online Auctions, Ray Wines and All pro land management, and anybody else that contributed time, effort, and donations to us. It all goes back into making this event better for the coming years.

It’s been a few weeks since the biggest race of the year and what a weekend it was. The weather on Saturday made it tough, but we got through the event and had I would say one of our best track layouts. The Friday night call out races and moto madness were a huge hit like they always are, and we were happy to have them back after having to cancel them last year due to rain. We raised a lot of money for the Taylor Wright Foundation which all goes back into our great motorcycle community. More posts about Friday night coming soon.

Saturday was mayhem with every moto having close battles for all the crucial podium positions. Rain played a part in the final laps of the MX1 moto. We also had a red flag with a staggered restart with two laps remaining, (all riders are ok). At the end of it all the top 3 teams were separated by 1 point each, and it was Team Mullet Mania taking home the Chamberlain Cup for the 15th anniversary of Pitbike Des Nations! MX1- Max Whale/ MX2- Hunter Bauer/ MX3- Matthew Richard Guenther JR. Congratulations to them and thank you to everyone that came out to support and race! Top 5 overall teams⬇️

1st- Mullet Mania, 7 points
2nd- Team Black, 8 points
3rd- 707 solutions, 9 points
4th- Team Pink, 16 points
5th- Team Look Pro Go Slow, 19 points

🚨‼️ITS OFFICIAL WE'RE RACING TOMORROW ‼️🚨

Weather appears to be giving us enough a window in the morning where we believe we can get the full program in. That being said in order to do that we're going to move the morning schedule up 30 minutes. So gates will now open at 9am with practice starting at 10am. From there its going to be a bit of a crap shoot trying to get through the program as quick and efficiently as possible. So please show up early and be ready to cook once we get going. Will there be a chance of riding with some rain hitting the ground? Sure but this is racing and thats part of the deal sometimes. We'll do this the best most efficient way we can and still try to make it as much fun as possible as well. Can't wait to see you all tomorrow! LFG!!!!!

📢‼️TONIGHT IT GOES DOWN‼️📢

Are you ready? Yes? No you're not! Nothing can actually prepare you for the Mayhem that's going to transpire tonight at Pitbike Des Nations Friday Night Bike Fights! One night only at CENTRAL ILLINOIS MOTORCYCLE CLUB gates open with open practice from 4 to 6pm. Then we'll shut it down get the lights up and watch riders duke it out in head to head matches with our Call Out Races followed by the Moto Madness bracket tournament. We'll also have some fun ways fans can get involved and actually play a role in the outcome of the races as well. Remember to bring some cash for the call out races, you just need to make a donation to the Taylor Wright Foundation, anywhere from $1 to $1,000,000, to call out and race heads up against any rider you want. Moto Madness Tournament will have a $10 entry per rider with that money being pooled for prize money going to the the finalists. We'll have free hot dogs, and drinks for both fans and riders so come get a meal on us.

WEATHER- Tonight should be absolutely perfect! We're fully aware of Saturday's forecast. It doesn't look great. That being said we'll be monitoring that all day trying to get the most updated information on timing. We have plan A,B,C,D,E,F,G that we're ready to implement once we have the full picture of what to actually expect. That could be anything from an earlier start and quicker running event Saturday to the potential of moving it to Sunday. Just remember the weather, while potentially controlled, isn't controlled by us so all we can do is try our best to make the best out of whatever bad situation unfolds.

🍔🌭🍱WHAT TIME IS IT!? DINNER TIME🍱🌭🍔

Which reminds us you can get Lunch, Dinner, than Lunch, Dinner and Lunch and Dinner again this weekend at Pitbike Des Nations XV! The Lunchbox will be out there serving up some of the tastiest food you can get at an outdoor event. They spare no expense when it comes to the quality of the deliciousness they serve up for all of the riders and fans and they keep the prices super fair while doing it. Only catch is you have to BRING CASH! Due to the limited cell service at the club CASH WILL BE KING like we're living back in the stone ages of the 1990s. The Lunchbox does this all for free giving all profits back to Pit Bike Des Nations and the Taylor Wright Foundation so please come hungry and leave full. Can't wait to see you all this weekend and don't forget to grab a world famous Des Nations Dog while you're at it!
