John Deere 1010 Special from Tennessee. This tractor really expanded our skills. Because it was a special it was a bit hard to find parts for it. That may have slowed us down but it did not stop us. From fabricating the head lights to upholstering the seat. It was all worth it in the end. Our customer was quite happy with the outcome. A special thanks goes out to Master's Hand Print in Marion for doing such an amazing job on the decals. We love supporting local when we can.

A customer sent Kevin this picture of his tractor that we restored about a year ago. This was its first parade pulling a wagon that belonged to the man’s granddaddy. He also told Kevin the tractor won Most Authentic Tractor at the antique tractor show. This was the first John Deere Kevin had ever done and he worked so hard researching to make sure everything was as authentic or “factory” as he calls it, as it possibly could be. That’s the part people don’t see. The long hours after he has came home from the shop figuring out what he don’t know because it is important to him that everything is right!!That’s what sets him apart from the guy down the street who can do it for half our price. Kevin is too humble to brag on himself but I am pretty dang proud of him and it gave me tears when I read the text.

First JD completed by us! 1955 Model 50 “Johnny Popper”, from Greenville Tn. Five years ago it was sent to someone else to be restored. It sat out in the Tennesse weather the whole time and wasnt touched. When it was picked up it was covered in kudzu and did not run. The customer was apprehensive about letting anyone else take it but he trusted us and we didnt disappoint Last picture is the tractor back on its farm. It belonged to our customer’s Daddy and he drove it as a small child all over their dairy farm hauling silage. He was tickled “green”. Nothing compares to hearing these old farmer’s voices break a little when they see their tractor again for the first time. When Kevin cranked it up, Mr Dale looked off and said “boy, does that bring back some memories”! From the look in his eyes they were good ones!! ♥️
