The 67 Mustang is alive again. I rebuilt the original 289 2V and gave it a little bigger cam and replaced the 2 bbl with an Edelbrock 4 bbl. It's idling a bit rough here and you can hear some popping and cracking. That's because I haven't even broken the timing light out yet. This is how it runs with simply eyeballing the distributor. No noises or smoke. It's a happy little engine.

A 72 Corvette in the shop for suspension/steering and carb-related issues. I'll be posting a video to YouTube shortly. The owner is pleased that the car's issues were not as serious as he feared.

A nearly perfect 1/16 inch door gap from top to bottom. Good lines makes an attractive finished product.

The original striker bracket on the 72 Nova was full of flaky rust on the inside. This is one part we're reusing on the car in conjunction with all the new sheet metal. I really didn't want flakes and dust falling out of it onto the brand new trunk floor every time the owner shut the trunk lid. So I sandblasted it clean. Now I'll hit it with a little primer and install it onto the inside of the new taillight panel.

Update on the 72 Nova. Customer bought mostly AMD sheet metal but was unable to find AMD doors. So I am fixing the atrocious door to quarter and door to rocker gaps. He was back and forth on trying to find some solid OEM doors or having me fix these. Either way he was looking at additional money spent. So today he gave me the go ahead to fix these. I'm glad. It was bugging me that they didn't fit right. Passenger side is roughed out. I'll sleep better tonight.
