Congratulations to Jason Collins on taking home the win!

Thunder Valley has delivered all weekend, and now it comes down to this.

Mike Stavrinos and Jason Collins Racing are headed to the final round after hard-fought semifinal victories, setting up one last battle for the Bristol Wally.

Stavrinos has been one of the drivers to beat all weekend, while Collins has continued to build momentum through eliminations to earn his shot at the trophy.

We at JBRC are saddened to hear the passing of our friend Shane Molinari.

Our heartfelt thoughts and condolences go out to his friends and family.

The Pro Mod world lost one of its own this weekend. Shane Molinari, a West Coast fixture and one of the most beloved figures in the doorslammer pits, died following a crash at Sonoma Raceway. He was 59. For the better part of two decades, the Battle Ground, Washington, racer was a constant out West, the guy everybody knew and nobody had a bad word for, as quick with a laugh in the pits as he was hard to beat on race day. He broke through on the national stage in 2017, wheeling his turbocharged '68 Firebird to his first NHRA Pro Mod victory at Norwalk with a 5.779 at 257 mph, but the wins were only ever part of the story. Shane did it the hard way, loved every minute of it, and brought people with him along the way. All in, all heart, grateful for the ride. Rest easy, racer.

Took a trip to Flying H yesterday to get some testing in on Ricky’s Copo Camaro.

🔥 🔥 🔥 New Import World Record🔥 🔥 🔥

The record now belongs to Eric LaFerriere. Eric piloted the “Sake Bomb”… a 2JZ powered, Bickel-Built Promod owned by Duy Bui, to a blistering 5.448 @ 266.11 MPH.

To make it even better, this was the teams 3rd 1/4 mile event, but the first full 1/4 mile pass on this new setup.

Lyle Barnett laid down the quickest pass ever for a screw-blown door car this morning at the Shakedown at M'Town, piloting the Tommy Youmans-owned, Lee White-tuned "Elvira" RvW Camaro to a 3.454-second blast at 217.50 mph in a side-by-side race with Chris Daniel, who was right there with 3.460 at 218.13.
