We’ve had several employees express interest in welding, so a couple of our fab guys stayed after today and helped get them familiar with a TIG torch and let them start burning some metal together.

A little more hood time and we’ll have a handful more welders to add to the team!

Also, for all you car girls out there… Ms. Colleen here, this year alone…. has gone from the front desk where she answered our phones for several years, to working in the body shop, and now she’s under a welding hood.

Talk about taking some initiative 💪🏼 Remember guys, people can take a lot of things from you in life, but your skills will never be one of them.

Proud is an understatement.

I think we should make "Throw the Laundry" Thursday a thing.

Post up those top end, chutes out shots!

The past couple of days we have been testing with Ashley in the Jungle Rat 2.5.

Throughout the two days of testing, Ashley progressed under the guidance of her dad Tommy, sister Amber, crew chief Jeff Pierce, brother-in-law Blake, and crewman Chris Murray.

We started with burnouts and the staging procedure Monday to get Ashley comfortable with everything before letting the button go. On Tuesday, it was time for runs.

Throughout the day she progressed further down the track, until eventually making 2 full runs and throwing the parachutes.

The car will be converted to full Pro 632 trim over the winter for Ashley to make her Pro 632 debut at the PDRA season opener.

We couldn’t be more proud of Ashley!!

You heard the man!

Every day for a decade, Wes Buck has been working on Pro Mod. Helping racers, working on rules, selling sponsorships, watching their kids grow up. He didn’t invent it. But he planted a flag in 2017, and Saturday night he stood on another one at Texas Motorplex and said what he wants for this class out loud.

Exciting news from our friends at Tommy Franklin Motorsports this morning! Ashley Franklin, who had a strong 2026 season in her Musi-powered Top Dragster, is set to make the move to PDRA Pro 632 for the 2027 season! Ashley will drive the Musi-powered '69 Camaro previously known as the "Jungle Rat 2.0" and driven by her father, Tommy. The car got a fresh paint job and a new name: "Jungle Rat 2.5." We're looking forward to cheering on Ashley as she makes this move.
