A few statistics for all you Spider owners;
- 1679 Spiders built - 1980 Model Year
- 1070 Carbureted cars
- 609 Fuel Injected cars
- all but 61 (i.e. 1618) were built at the Solihull factory
- just 61 fuel Injected cars were built at the Canley factory
- I have a count of 70 Spiders found or reported directly to me (fb, eBay, Craigslist, private communications - with their VINs); half carbureted, half fuel Injected. That plus another 70 cars on the old Spider Registry maintained by John Manske makes up to 140. They continue to be discovered so there are likely many more out there.
There were also 300 European 'Final' edition cars with similar specs except silver decals rather than reflective red Spider stripes & decals. Very few of these have been reported.
