After we leveled the base I had stone put down to grade it out. This is where I screwed up. After I spent $2k to get the level and grade perfect, the construction company came and dug it all up for the support beams. Basically I could have just done a rough level on the base and laid the stone down after the building went up. Instead I had to spend a few hundred more dollars to redo the stone and grade. The silver lining is that I ended up with a super solid base thanks to the 42k + lbs. of stone I put down. They put the building up in 2 work days!

The F[x]v garage is finally up and on its way to being fully functional - 3 Months Earlier - My buddies and I breaking ground to level and grade, the first step in preparation for the pole barn. This was a pain in the ass and cost me just as much as hiring professionals to do it. I’m glad I did it myself, but I would recommend to others who have little to no experience leveling and grading, to just hire a company to do it. I’m going to share the pole barn/garage building process with y’all over the next few days to get y’all up to speed on where I’m at
