🚨 Leaks. Slips. Hesitation. Your transmission usually gives you warnings before it gives you a bill.

If your car is leaving fluid behind, taking too long to shift, slipping between gears, revving without picking up speed, or just feels “off,” don’t keep hoping it fixes itself.

That’s how a small problem turns into a much bigger one.

At Top Gear Auto Care, we focus on finding the real cause first — not guessing, throwing parts at it, or giving you a vague answer.

We inspect the system, explain what we find, and tell you what actually needs attention.

Signs your transmission may need service:

✅ Fluid leaking under the vehicle
✅ Delayed or hard shifting
✅ Slipping between gears
✅ High RPM with weak acceleration
✅ Shaking or jerking while shifting
✅ Strange whining or clunking noises
✅ Burning smell or warning lights

Your transmission is one of the most important systems in your vehicle.

If it’s leaking, slipping, or hesitating, bring it in before it starts making decisions for you. 😂

🔧 Ever leave an auto shop feeling like you just paid to participate in a guessing game?

“Could be this.”
“Maybe it’s that.”
“We’ll replace this first and see what happens.”

Meanwhile, your wallet is sitting in the waiting room fighting for its life. 😭

At Top Gear Auto Care, we don’t believe car repair should work like that.

If your transmission is slipping, shifting hard, hesitating, leaking, making strange noises, or just not feeling right, the goal is to properly diagnose the problem, explain what we found, and give you a clear path forward.

No confusing runaround.
No throwing parts at the car and hoping something works.
No making you feel like you need a mechanic’s degree just to understand the repair.

You should know what’s wrong, what needs to be fixed, why it needs to be fixed, and what you’re paying for.

That’s the difference.

✅ Honest diagnostics
✅ Clear explanations
✅ Transmission service & repair
✅ Quality parts
✅ Fair, straightforward service
✅ A team that wants you to understand your vehicle, not fear the invoice

If your transmission has started developing a personality of its own, don’t keep guessing with it. 😂

Bring it to Top Gear Auto Care and let us figure out what’s actually going on.

Getting your vehicle repaired shouldn’t feel like a guessing game.

You should know:

✅ What’s actually wrong with your vehicle
✅ What needs to be repaired now
✅ What can wait
✅ What you’re paying for
✅ Why the repair is being recommended

No mystery charges. No confusing explanations. No “trust me bro” diagnosis followed by a bill that makes your foot cramp just looking at it.

At Top Gear Auto Care, we believe good auto repair starts with honest communication and fair service. Our goal is to diagnose the problem, explain your options, and help you make the right decision for your vehicle and your budget.

Because sometimes the most expensive part of a car problem isn’t the repair…

It’s going somewhere that doesn’t give you the whole story.

🤔🚗 WORTH FIXING?

2014 Honda Accord
172,000 miles
$1,800 repair needed

What are you doing?

KEEP IT 👍
or
SEND IT? 😂

Here’s the part people forget:

Mileage alone doesn’t tell you whether a vehicle is worth repairing.

You also have to consider:

✅ Overall condition
✅ Maintenance history
✅ Engine/transmission health
✅ What the car is worth
✅ What replacing it would cost
✅ Whether it’s paid off

Sometimes spending $1,800 fixing a paid-off car is a lot cheaper than signing up for another $500–$800 monthly payment.

Other times, the repair is just the beginning.

There’s no universal answer.

So what are you doing with this one?

KEEP IT or SEND IT?

“I thought the grinding would eventually stop.”

Oh, it can stop.

Usually right after the brake pad has completely disappeared and your rotor has joined the problem. 😭

If your brakes are grinding, that’s not your vehicle being dramatic.

It can mean the brake pad material is worn down enough that metal components are contacting each other.

Waiting can turn:

Brake pads

into…

Brake pads + rotors

and sometimes even more.

If your brakes are making noises that sound expensive, there is a very good chance they are becoming expensive.

Don’t be this guy. 😂

Bring it to Top Gear Auto Care and let us check it before the soundtrack gets worse.

There are levels to ignoring car problems.

LEVEL 1:

“This probably needs brake pads.”

$

LEVEL 2:

“Okay… now it needs pads AND rotors.”

$$$

LEVEL 3:

“So… how attached are you to your bank account?” 😭

$$$$$

Routine maintenance isn’t just about keeping your vehicle running.

It’s also about catching things while they’re still relatively inexpensive.

Brake wear is a perfect example.

Replacing worn pads early can help prevent damage to other components.

Ignore the grinding long enough and the repair can become much bigger.

Small issue now.

Big bill later.

Before it becomes expensive, bring it to Top Gear Auto Care.

🕳️🚗 Milwaukee potholes woke up and chose violence again.

One good hit can be enough to knock your wheel alignment out and leave your car pulling, wandering, or wearing through tires unevenly.

Signs your alignment may be off:

✅ Vehicle pulls left or right
✅ Steering wheel sits crooked
✅ Uneven tire wear
✅ Car wanders on the highway
✅ Steering changed after hitting a pothole

A wheel alignment helps keep your tires pointed where they’re supposed to be and can help protect the life of those expensive tires.

Milwaukee may keep making potholes.

We’ll keep fixing what they do to your car. 😂

🚗😂 If your car only gets attention when a warning light comes on… we need to talk.

Routine car maintenance is a lot cheaper than waiting for something to break at the worst possible time.

At Top Gear Auto Care, we help keep your vehicle running right with complete maintenance services designed to catch small problems before they turn into expensive repairs.

A few signs your car may be overdue for maintenance:

✅ Oil change light is on
✅ Engine feels rough or sluggish
✅ Strange noises are starting to show up
✅ Fluids are low or dirty
✅ Tires are wearing unevenly
✅ Brakes don’t feel the same
✅ You’re past your recommended service interval
✅ Fuel mileage has started dropping

And yes… “I was gonna get to it eventually” is how a lot of expensive repairs begin. 😂

Routine maintenance can help:

✅ Extend the life of your vehicle
✅ Improve fuel economy
✅ Reduce unexpected breakdowns
✅ Protect your engine and transmission
✅ Keep your brakes, tires, and fluids in good condition
✅ Catch problems before they become major repairs

Your car has a lot of moving parts, and all of them are depending on you to not completely ignore them. 😂
