This week's treasures. In trying to keep the budget build F100, I picked up this C4 transmission for only $100 off a gentleman, drove the next town over and scored a box of 4 barrel carburetors for $120(all need a rebuild), and that guy ended up being super cool. He had an early Nova he was building. I was there way too long talking haha but he ended up giving me that old school battery/alternator tester for free.
Working on all these classic cars really gives me the opportunity to meet so many great people. The transmission was said to be "great" when pulled. But the 302 I picked up was said to be running when pulled. I'll update you guys on that one soon. If it was running, it certainly wasn't running good haha

Here it is! The project truck that the 302 is going in. '65 Ford F100. The goal with this truck is a budget rat rod/ hot rod pickup. I am trying to build it into something fun and radical but on a budget. I also have some updates on the 302 I picked up previously. It's going to need a little more than I was told. But now we have the chance to make it something even better. I'll continue to post on this build so everyone can follow along.

I picked up this SBF 302 for an upcoming project build. The gentleman I bought it from was very nice and honest. Told me the engine sat in his storage for over 20 years. Judging by how the spark plug removal went, I think he was telling the truth haha
I'll post what vehicle I'm building this engine for soon. Building the suspense for all of my 235 followers 😂

Check out this '42 Ford I've been working on. Some more work to do before I put it on the market for sale. Hanging the fenders alone required the use of bungee cords to give me an extra hand haha. Motor is a 351c with a toploader 4 speed and an 8.8 rear end. More to come.
Praise Jesus that I'm able to do what I truly enjoy and make a living doing it.

Trunk rust repair in a '67 Malibu. Rust is typically worse than it initially looks. Took it down to bare metal, treated it, primed it and resprayed the whole trunk. The owner, and 82 year old woman, is very happy with it. Now she wants me to paint her whole car next..

A few carburetor rebuilds to figure out which one I like best, new Cooper Cobra tires, fuel lines, brake master cylinder, etc. the big block Corvette is finally back on the road. Video to come, as well as a few more posts of what we've been up to..

Owner refuses to pay... Worked on this sweet '71 Beetle. Replaced tie rod ends and packed wheel bearings. Car is back on the road, smoother than ever and the owner is loving it.
I tried getting her to pay her bill and now she says that being married to her is payment enough.. fortunately she's pretty hot, so I'll let it slide.

Previous owner was smart and filled the cylinders full of oil before putting the car into long term storage. He did 6 of the 8 cylinders. Didn't get the back two on the driver's side. I filled those cylinders with diesel and transmission fluid for two days. It came free and now spins nice and smooth.

Not much posting over the winter because I don't think anyone is excited to see me changing brakes, wheel bearings and oil changes. As the weather gets better, I'll have much cooler things to post.
Sold this one before I got a chance to post it here. From my personal collection. Sold it to make some room..
