What's up, everyone, I hope you are having a GREAT Memorial Day!

Just wanted to drop it out there, the shop will be kind of on vacation for the next week! We have family coming from out of town, but remember.....if you have a emergency, go ahead and give us a call!

For non emergency matters, we're happy to schedule cars beginning next Tuesday for any of the things you may want or need.

We had this super clean 2001 Buick in the other day after it went to a dealership in Wichita. The dealership spelled out doom and gloom and gave a silly estimate for repairs to this car. Luckily, the owner brought it to Milton Automotive and Diagnostics for a second opinion, and we are glad they did!

The largest operational issue we found was a dying driver's door window unit - a far cry from what the dealership suggested!

Folks, we make it a POINT to do several things for you -

1. TEST AND DIAGNOSE! We are NOT parts changers.

2. We NEVER recommend parts you don't need. If it looks suspect, we'll tell you that it is suspect, and give YOU the decision. If you can still get miles out of it - we'll make sure you know that too. Now, on occasion, you can save money by changing a part with a part - we'll tell you this too, and once again, the decision is yours.

3. We don't use scare tactics. If something is dangerous, we will show you in person, and explain the situation and your options.

We've been fixing a lot of steering and suspension at Milton Automotive and Diagnostics!

Some of the cars that come in here simply amaze me. This 2008 Lexus came in for a spark plug change because it had 200,000 miles on it, and the plug swap interval is 100,000 miles on most later cars. I was SURE it had a set at 100,000 miles!

I was wrong. I fished out the original 200,000 mile spark plugs. And this car didn't misfire or skip at all! Now it has a lot more power, and it gets FAR better gas mileage!

Folks, it seems that spring time is upon us! That means it's time to get the FUN CARS out!

What's been shaking at Milton Automotive? ENGINES! If your car feels like a washer with a small brick in it, let us know! The car in these pictures felt like that at idle, and it was completely blown out engine mounts. Replacing those made this car feel like brand new again!

Apart from great diagnostics, something else we do here is offer programming modifications for Fords! For example, want to upgrade your instrument panel like in the pictures below? We can do that! Diagnostics! It's what we DO! Today's cars require specialized tools to find out what is causing problems. Gone are the days where we could tap on the carburetor with a screwdriver, or file the points a little bit!

We invest in tools that can talk to every module in your car, retrieve trouble codes, and see all the data coming in and going out, as well as be able to perform specialized actuation tests and service functions.

Hi, everyone! I forgot to mention in out last post...WE ARE OPEN FULL TIME NOW!

In addition, we are also offering labor discounts for the following groups! Service members, veterans, first responders, and school district employees will be granted a discount on the labor charges for their services!

Even better, we have set up an appointment calendar so that you can see what the shop availability is, and choose a time to get your car repaired or serviced! Also within that, you will have the option to state if you are dropping your car off, or staying with it.
