Arrived yesterday (15 May, 15) performance black bezel headlamps. Bought from eBay for $139, regular (if to be believed) $477, seem very well made, I was impressed with the quality. I'll have to use my friends garage for the lift, as removing the wheels, splash guards and grille are involved for removal/install. Will post before and after photos.

To break up the dry spell of posts. My 2004 PT Cruiser just celebrated 100K miles! Still runs great (fingers crossed) all the upgrades were well worth the expense. Did install new lift gate gas struts as the old ones were SHOT, what a difference, now get a work out shutting the gate...

Sorry folks that I've been remiss/negligent on keeping up with this "PT Cruiser Phan". But, I hope you understand life takes you on many a twist and turn on this journey we call life. Please feel free to contact me via PM for any inputs to improvements

I'm sorry for the lack of input of recent. I've been recovering from major surgery and the Doc has curtailed any activities to do with just about anything!

Weather nice, checked tire pressures and washed the car. other than that not much to report. End of the month car show in town, thinking of showing of my PT.

There has been a death in the PT Phamily, my daughter allowed her boyfriend to use her PT Cruiser and in-turn he allowed a friend to borrow the PT. Well, said friend rolled the car and the car is a TOTAL loss, dead on the scene! As far as the "friend" who borrowed the car I have no clue as to his condition. My daughters boyfriend as well as herself are not on my "hey, let's chat like nothing ever happened", I'm not very pleased about the circumstances of letting people who use your car have no license and the "friend" has no license!

I maybe going in for surgery in the near future and rest assured my PT Phamily, my car keys will be locked in my safe and only I have the combination! Nobody is borrowing my car whilst I'm laid up!

Sorry, I haven't much to input. Car show coming up, thinking of entering my car as a upgraded daily driver. We'll see what will be, will be.

Well, folks it's been a spell since I posted but, good news! Last weekend my wife and I took a 250 mile round road trip from Millbrook, AL to Oxford, AL and believe it or not I got 30 MPG! Did a recalculation of my trip to work this week and I'm averaging 27 MPG! Seems that putting upgrades (alibet expensive) have paid dividends. As my mechanic friend Gary states; "All that clean air moving through and out, means less restrictions on the engine thus more efficent fuel economy!"

I still recommend, at the first fill-up of the month, add fuel injector cleaner. You don't have to do it at every fill up but, once a month is fine.

Till next time, Happy PT Cruising!

Forgot to say, with the rims, instead of chrome/silver lug nuts...I went BLACK lug nuts!

Well gang, I've received numerous compliments of praise as to what I've done to my PT and couldn't be prouder! Last thing to accomplish for awhile will be a window tint job.

But, I'm puzzled as to why no one converses with me on this site, maybe I've set up/configured this site wrong?

If I have contact me on my FB Peter M. Hanton and we'll correct.

Ah...the lovely silhouette of Sylvia!
