The Porsche 919 Hybrid won Le Mans three years in a row.

Apparently, that wasn’t enough.

After retiring it from competition, Porsche threw away the rulebook and created the 919 Evo: roughly 1,145 horsepower and enough pace to lap the Nordschleife in 5:19.546.

The 919 showed what Porsche could build within the rules, and the 919 Evo showed what happened when those rules disappeared.

#𝗚𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘 at Lime Rock Park was packed with great cars, incredible energy, and a community that made every moment special.

From the TSH Auto drift cars creating clouds of smoke to the two FCP Euro booths on site, there was non-stop action all weekend.

But the absolute best part? The people.

The conversations, familiar faces, new friends, and every moment in between that made this weekend one we’ll never forget.

A Volvo 850, but not quite the one many of us are used to seeing.

This JDM-market 850 caught our attention at the spring Volvo/Saab Sunday Motoring Meet at Lime Rock Park.

The 850 is already a familiar sight among enthusiasts, but seeing a Japanese-market example here in the U.S. makes this one a little more interesting.

It’s a great example of how the same platform can look and feel completely different depending on the market and why we love seeing something unexpected roll into a Sunday Motoring Meet.

BMW was experimenting with EVs long before the i3.
