My high school girlies!! 🤎✨

Spray tanning is seriously one of my FAVORITE services at Bliss Bodyworks Day Spa! I love my massage guest, but getting to see that little confidence boost hit when these girls see their glow? 🥹 YESSS, BABY!

I finally got back into Bliss last Tuesday and went straight into scramble mode 🏃🏽‍♀️ More cleaning, massages, AND spray tans! I know I missed a few girls I couldn’t find on social, but I’m SO glad I got to help my little friends get ready for their event!

And getting to see some of y’all throughout your whole high school journey?! The side quests, the stories, the updates… I LOVE IT. 😂
Although the way y’all keep confessing you didn’t follow the rinse time instructions… 😏 GIRL!!! 💀

Getting ready with your girls is one of the BEST parts of being a girl and I’m always happy Bliss gets to be a little part of it. 🤎✨

Currently on DND… like REAL DND. ᨒ↟ 𖠰

And when I say out of office… I mean I barely have cell service. 😂 So I’m just over here with my family, breathing, existing and letting my phone mind its own business for a minute.

My nervous system needed this BAD. 😮‍💨
The last 4ish months have felt like I’ve been in ALWAYS ON ALERT MODE. Just one thing after another, constantly doing, thinking, planning, responding… y’all know how it is.

And I’m pretty sure this is just called being an adult 🏳️🏳️ but WHEW.

I’ll be back answering messages Friday!
Thank y’all for always supporting me and Bliss Bodyworks Day Spa and for understanding when your girl occasionally needs to disappear into the wilderness with her family. 😂🏔️

Now let me get back to doing absolutely nothing. 😌🍃

Massage isn’t a Luxury…It's healthcare.

You don't wait for your car to break down before you service it, right?🚫

So why wait until you're burnt out, in pain or running on empty to take care of your body.

Regular massage therapy helps your nervous system reset, your muscles recover and your mind breathe.

It's not self indulgence…

It's self maintenance… 👀

LITTLE UPDATE! 🤍

The AC blower has been ordered! 🙌
They’re hoping it arrives tomorrow or by Monday so we can get it installed.

So this weekend, I’ll be at Bliss Bodyworks Day Spa cleaning + getting everything ready. 🧹😂
Fingers crossed that I’m back in my space early next week!

I’ll keep y’all posted ☺️

Things they taught me in Massage School: DON’T TALK. 🙄😂

But surprise, surprise… I got ✔️ in that “talks too much” category ALLLL through elementary school. 😆

So naturally, I had some thoughts about this one. Because after doing this for a long time, I’ve realized something… Relaxation does NOT look the same for everybody.

I have clients who come in, tell me exactly what they need, get cozy and don’t say another word until I tell them we’re done. 😴

Then I have my talkers. 😂
The ones who need to catch me up on… 🤐…
I can’t tell you 🤭 Honestly? Both are therapy.
I’m a pretty good listener. Your session is exactly that, yours.

You don’t have to perform relaxation a certain way when you’re at Bliss Bodyworks Day Spa. You wanna close your eyes and disappear for an hour? I got you. You wanna talk it out while I work? Girl, tell me everything. 🍿

SPRAY TAN PREP TIP — SAVE THIS! ✨

Massac’s homecoming is NEXT WEEK, which means it’s officially spray tan season! 🦵🏻🦵🏼🦵🏽

If you want your tan to go on smooth and last longer, here’s your little pre tan checklist:

🤎 Shave + shower beforehand
🤎 Exfoliate… especially those dry areas like elbows, knees & ankles
🤎 If you’re getting a mani/pedi, try to do it before your spray tan
🤎 HYDRATION IS KEY! Start drinking your water before your appointment. Hydrated skin = happier skin + a better tan.
🤎 Come in without lotion, deodorant or oils on your skin
🤎 Coming straight from work or school? No worries…. I have wipes! m
🤎 Wear dark, loose fitting clothes to your appointment
🤎 Bring flip flops + a body towel for the ride home
🤎 Need a little extra coverage? Disposable undergarments + a poncho are available (if rain)

Basically… prep your skin, drink your water, wear your baggiest clothes and let me handle the rest. 😂🤎
