Brakes feeling softer this summer? There's a reason for that.

Extreme heat causes brake fluid to absorb moisture and eventually boil, and once that v***r forms, your braking performance takes a hit. Heat also makes your rotors expand, which changes how your pads make contact and can lead to uneven wear over time.

Most shops just swap in new pads and call it a day. At Lexpert, we use an on-car brake lathe to resurface your rotors so you're not leaving with a squeaky, uneven brake job.
