The Mercedes Quarterback Club is a non-profit organization committed to providing for the needs of our players and coaches. Our goal is to ensure that the Mercedes High School football program remains one of the finest competitive athletic programs in the area. Our mission is to raise the funds necessary to provide the resources needed to reach and maintain that goal. More importantly, our desire

is to provide the best possible atmosphere and environment allowing all of our student athletes to compete on an equal basis. With the continued support of our families, friends, teachers and coaches our community is growing stronger as we prepare our future citizens and leaders to become responsible, well-educated, productive individuals.

Purchase your tickets in advance through the GoFan website or app, and join us Friday, Sept. 4, at Tiger Stadium as the Mercedes Tigers take on the Edcouch-Elsa Yellowjackets! Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. 🎟️🐾

It's Week Two-The HSSM Top 20 Rankings...by David "Tddave" Amador

Donna, Alice, LBJ, Raymondville, Moves Into Top 20
(McAllen, Texas)-It was a wild win for the Raymondville Bearkats as they defeated Harlingen South 46-45 in overtime. Junior QB Jeffery LeFevre passed for 281 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for another 166 yards and one touchdown as the Bearkats moves into the HSSM's Top 20 Rankings for the first time this season long with Alice (defeats Beeville 35-13), Donna (winners over La Feria 48-13 ) and Laredo LBJ (defeats Laredo Nixon 40-21).
HSSM released the Top 20 Pre-Season rankings and all Top 17 teams picked up their wins. Dropping out of the polls are Flour Bluff, Edinburg Vela, and Sharyland.
