9 out of 10 new owner operators underestimate start up costs - and how long it will take to generate regular income.

Typically a new O/O will start generating income within a few weeks of getting their authority, but it can take months to make a profit. How can they meet expenses until they start making money?

Delayed first payment structure can help a lot in those first few months.

Even if you are an experienced O/O and considering another purchase, the delayed first payment structure can work in your favor. It gives you time to shore up any minor repairs or creates a window for additions or upgrades before you put a lot of miles on the unit.

The first contract payment for our loans is due up to 60-90 days after closing documents have been signed. During these couple months, a new owner a chance to build some relationships, recover from start up expenses and replenish the bank account before having a truck payment due.

How are they doing it?

They prepay their loan contracts - if the lender offers a Prepayment Policy that is like the one our customers have available to them.
You can prepay your loan with us at any time, month 2 or month 32, for whatever the simple interest book value is with no markup if you have a FlexPlus loan!

This can result in saving you thousands on the total expense of your loan. We encourage you to check with your tax preparer or business advisor to determine the right timing for you as each loan has a "sweet spot" where you will see the most savings possible.
