I didn’t notice that our 3rd brake light was out until reviewing the footage from today’s video! What a great opportunity to replace the old incandescent bulb with a new LED from ! Now the rear end is more cohesive and brighter for more safety.

One year ago this week we picked up our lovely Miata 🥂 While we have only driven her roughly 600 miles in that time, each one has been memorable and spent having smiles on our faces! Here’s to the transformation and restoration of an amazing little machine, celebrating our progress so far and looking forward to more to come 💜

Lavender survived her first (or at least first with us) MATG!!! We didn’t stay the whole time but did make it out to meet the group at the end of the sunset run Thursday night and spent a full day driving on Saturday without any hiccups! There’s still lots more to fix and repair but I’m so proud of this car and how far we’ve come with her already.

Between the wonderful driving roads, picture spots, seeing my old 30AE again, and meeting amazing people (some of which recognized the car and I from YouTube!), MATG is such a great event and this year was no exception! Until next time ✌🏻

Lavender made her debut today! 110ish miles round trip and not a single hiccup, aside from the rain getting in at the usual spots around the corner of the windshield frame and top of the windows. Add ‘adjusting soft top seals’ to list of to-dos…
