We can't thank the drivers and fans enough for today. Low car count today but, the drivers did everything they could to put on a show for the fans. The guys agreed to do a few extra races and they did not disappoint at all. Great show over all and we have bigger plans for next year. Thanks again everyone and congratulations to our winners of the 2024 Central Iowa Fair Redneck rally.

Who's ready for the 2024 Marshalltown Red Neck race on Saturday July 13th!?! Some new sponsors have came on board this year and things are looking better to up the lay out. All cars, trucks and vans are welcome! All glass and plastic (headlight/trim) must be removed from vehicles. We are having a out law class, run what you bring! We are 2 days away, come join us at this racing event hosted by J&M Fabrication at the Marshalltown Speedway during the Central Iowa Fair. Bring your car, truck, or suv and see if your the fastest going through the jumps in the redneck race or chain yourself up and see if you can beat all others around the track with both your cars intact!!

Drivers must be 16 years or older. Under 18 must have signed parental authorization form.

The undersigned herewith releases the Central Iowa Fair & Marshall County Speedway, directors, officers, volunteers for any and all liability for injuries or damages that result either directly or otherwise form my participation in the above-described event, even if these injuries and damages arise as a result of negligence or culpable conduct on the part of the parties released. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the released parties named above for all claims against the released parties for expenses incurred by the released parties which are due to my participation in the above-described event.

I understand if said vehicles are not removed from the Central Iowa Fairgrounds within 48 hours, it will become the property of the Central Iowa Fairgrounds and all expenses to remove it will become the responsibility of the driver.

I understand all the rules and prize payout for the Central Iowa Fairground Chain Race, and I will NOT hold anyone responsible for any financial or physical damage to one’s property or self.

Classes - Outlaw Class! - Anything automotive based. Cars, pickups, 2WD or 4WD, full size vans, figure 8 cars, derby cars, stock cars, anything goes!

Fwd class, anything that's fwd an stock.

Trucks and suv's, if you are not stock and chose too be welded up and are running a bigger motor you will be put in the outlaw class, inspectors will make that call.

No cars, trucks or Suvs will told you can't run.. Run what you bring as long as you fall with in these rules

Marshalltown Redneck Race Rules

Mandatory Rules:

1. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED!

2. Car/Truck MUST have a roll bar/demo bar. A full cage is not required.

3. Car MUST have all exterior plastic removed/limited plastic

4. Car MUST have all glass completely removed. It is acceptable to leave the windshield if the driver prefers.

5. Car MUST have DOT approved tires.

6. Car MUST have a number painted on the side, large enough to see from the grandstands.

7. Passengers are NOT allowed!!!

8. Doors MUST be welded or chained shut.

9. If you or your pit crew are found to be intoxicated, you will not be racing. This is for everyone’s safety!

10. A 15” x 15” hole must be cut in the center of the hood for access in case of fire.

11. Race vehicles MUST be trailered to fairgrounds.

12. Pants and long-sleeved shirts or fire suit is required.

Suggestions and Tips

1. Interior or exterior door bar is recommended.

2. Full roll cages are perfectly fine. Cars will be inspected. Please use common sense, and do not make cages out of unsafe materials (fence posts, conduit, etc.).

3. Fuel Cells are not required. Gas tanks and batteries can stay in stock location.

4. Factory seat belts and seats will be allowed.

5. Factory interior can stay in the car.
