Ahoy, Manitowoc! It’s National Maritime Day, and with a name like ours, we couldn’t let this one sail by and not recognize the maritime industry and its impact.

Here in Manitowoc, the “Maritime” name is part of who we are, from Maritime Ford to the Wisconsin Maritime Museum and Maritime Metro Transit. Whether it’s cars, buses, boats, submarines, or Great Lakes history, Manitowoc knows how to keep things moving.

So today, we’re tipping our captain’s hat to our fellow “Maritime” names around town and celebrating the community we’re proud to call home.
