Hello everyone who is following this!
I have BIG news!
I THOUGHT that my former ‘68 fastback would be built into a very cool “Bullitt” clone, but today I learned something different, and MUCH better!
Due to a Disclosure Agreement, I was told little information, but I THINK I can safely say the following:
“A very famous company (not ford) that is associated with Special Mustangs is going to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 68 fastbacks”!! I was NOT told any info on what’s going to be put INTO the Gold Manistee Mustang, but was told the Special company contacted the builder in Texas, and asked him if he knew of any Gold Mustangs. He said “yes, in fact I have one! OUR Manistee Mustang!! This is going to be a “front page of a magazine” kind of car!!! I’m just thrilled to let you know this much. I know VERY little else!!

This is NOT the Gold Fastback of Manistee County. This does have its doors, but is a Coupe that has been converted by Ron Hentschell of Desirable Autos and Classics. He did a great job!! The Golden Fastback is most likely going to be totally redone and turned into a "Bullitt" clone! He does amazing work!
