There will be a gathering of farmers, agribusiness leaders, and community members tomorrow morning, Thursday, April 23, at 8:30 AM at Lasseter Tractor in Lyons.

We will come together to pray for much-needed rain for our community and our state. Local farmer Mr. Sam Baker will lead us in prayer, and everyone is welcome to attend. Please join us at 8:30 AM sharp as we unite in support of our agricultural community. Help spread the word!

Due to the drought conditions locally and the wildfires being fought in Neighboring counties, we have made the decision to NOT cut the park this week. While that means that the campground will not look as pristine as we’d like it to, it’s the responsible decision to make for the safety of our community.

Effective immediately, the City of Lyons is issuing an Open Burning Ban in response to extremely dangerous fire conditions.

The combination of dry conditions, critically low humidity, and strong winds poses a severe and imminent risk.

🔥 IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL CAMPGROUND GUESTS 🔥

Due to extremely dry weather conditions and active wildfires being fought in surrounding counties, a campground-wide burn ban is now in effect for the entire county.

This means that ALL open burning is strictly prohibited until further notice, including:

• Campfires
• Fire pits
• Brush burning
• Burning trash or debris
• Charcoal grills
• Any open flame outside of approved emergency use

This ban is in place to help prevent additional wildfires and protect our guests and surrounding communities.

We ask everyone to please cooperate and use extra caution during this time. Violations of the burn ban may result in fines and removal from the campground.
