Had a great time yesterday at The Cove At Lake Anna. Thanks to Suzie and her great staff for taking care of us and we gave race tickets to some kids. We had a great time. We might have to do it again.

We picked the 47 machine up from Skippy’s yesterday and got it back to Davis Body Shop. Got a few more updates then we can get it back together. Thank you Gary Burke for help with front clip and to Roger Davis for all the help and use of the body shop. Thank you to my sponsors this year for the support. It’s the new year and we are getting things ready for the 2024 season. We got the new clip put on the car. Thank you Gary Burke and Chris Ge**er for all the help. It was a long day but we had fun. Car should be back home in a couple weeks after the front bars are done and a few other things to finish up. Can’t thank Roger Davis at Davis Body Shop for allowing us to use the shop to get everything done. Roger will be in the car May 18th as we will be in Myrtle beach for bike week. I’m sure he will have a blast. We have The Cove at Lake Anna on the hood this year and Davis body shop again as primary sponsor. Thanks to Eric and Pete at E.b. Porting for the power plant. We are looking to have a great year as last year was a major disappointment. With Gary helping with set ups and the improvements we have made I am excited to get this year started. Got to thank my wife. She cringes this time of year getting everything ready and the money being spent. I couldn’t do this without her. I love you beautiful. Can’t wait to get to the track and have fun.

We had a good car Saturday night. Started on the pole and led some laps. Was running second until we had a mechanical issue. Got that fixed before the second race. Driver was over driving the car in second race and finished 7th. Thanks you Gary, Chris, Josh and Zach for all the help. Huge thank you to my wife for letting me do this. Well we won’t be at the track tomorrow. Getting parts back late and having a limited amount of time we couldn’t get everything done. We have a great effort.

Been a long week. Wife left Monday and back Thursday night for work so of course I didn’t sleep very well. Worked on the race car today. New camshaft degreed in. Waiting on cylinder heads to finish up. Suspension is all done. Get engine in, put on scales and button a couple things up and be ready for practice. Thanks Bryce Cook, Chris Ge**er and Gary Burke for all the help.
