Car tip of the day: Don’t ignore oil leaks.
Oil leaks can come from several areas, including the valve cover, oil filter housing, oil pan, drain plug, timing cover, or rear main seal. Some leaks are minor, but others can get worse fast and lead to burning smells, low oil level, engine damage, or a bigger repair bill.
If you see oil spots under your car or smell burning oil, schedule an inspection before it turns into an expensive surprise.
