FOR SALE: 1998 Camaro Z28 (1LE) T56 Manual

Up for sale is an extremely rare piece of 4th Gen F-Body history: 1 of 99 in 1998 with the 1LE package, 1 or 18 in Bright Red w/ a t56 manual trans. If you’ve look at what’s out there, you’ll quickly see this is one of the cleanest and priced to sell. The 1st owner had it until 2004/30k miles, then it went to the 2nd owner who drove it to 120k miles and restored it. About $30k in restoration work a couple years ago. The owner then passed away unfortunately leaving behind a nearly flawless car. Every bit of this car was gone through and rebuilt or replaced - engine, clutch system, brake system, rear end, interior/trim, paint etc.

LS1 / T56 6 speed manual
Factory AC (ice cold)
18” wheels (c5 z06 replicas)
Kenwood stereo
Borla exhaust
Manual windows/locks - none of those busted GM switches
No dash cracks etc

Tonight’s haul is a 1970 Camaro that’s been parked in a Lakewood backyard just a few blocks away since 2010. The owner got a DUI and parked it and never moved it again. He’s run into me a few times at the self car wash with different classics I’ve had and has been wanting me to come see it. Well I ended up buying it (though I always wanted a split bumper). He’s owned it since 2001 (around the same time I bought my 69 Chevelle). This is a 350/350 car, originally produced in the Van Nuys CA plant. 10 bolt one-legger rear end. Originally Cortez silver. Hopefully it will run and drive with minimal work! I think this is the first classic Camaro I’ve bought 🤯
