Antron Brown powered his way to the Top Fuel win at the NHRA Texas Fall Nationals, taking down a tough lineup on the way to Wally No. 83!

Round 1: Def. Dan Mercier — 3.715 sec. at 337.99 mph
Quarterfinal: Def. Leah Pruett — 3.696 sec. at 338.40 mph
Semifinal: Def. points leader Shawn Langdon — 3.720 sec. at 334.32 mph
🏆 Final: Def. Maddi Gordon — 3.706 sec. at 335.75 mph

That’s Brown’s 67th Top Fuel win, 83rd career NHRA national event victory, second win of the 2026 season, and fourth Texas Motorplex triumph. A statement weekend in the Countdown!

JR TODD IS VICTORIOUS IN TEXAS

🔥 Round by round: • Round 1: Beat Spencer Hyde, 3.940 at 329.60 mph, with a holeshot
• Quarterfinals: Beat Alexis DeJoria, 3.930 at 333.75 mph
• Semifinals: Beat Ron Capps, 3.912 at 333.01 mph
• Final: Beat points leader Matt Hagan with a 3.931 at 331.76 mph

That’s Todd’s 24th career win and his second of the season. He moves into third in the Funny Car standings, 119 points behind Hagan with two races left. The championship chase is still alive!

At the 2025 NHRA Fall Nationals, Kalitta defeated Texas native Steve Torrence with a blistering 3.777-second run at 333.04 mph. It was his second straight victory, fourth win of the season and 59th of his career—and it stretched his Top Fuel championship lead over Justin Ashley to 141 points with two races remaining.

Now Kalitta returns to Texas Motorplex to defend that title. The FallNationals kicks off the second half of the Countdown, and with the championship pressure rising, every round matters. Can Doug deliver another Texas-sized performance?

ST. LOUIS BELONGED TO AUSTIN PROCK!

Prock put together a championship-caliber Sunday at the Midwest Nationals, beating Ron Capps with a 3.872 at 334.90 mph, J.R. Todd with a 3.872 at 333.66 mph, and Jack Beckman with a 3.906 at 329.91 mph. He capped it with a 3.909 at 332.84 mph to take the final over Jordan Vandergriff.

The win moved Prock from sixth to third in points, putting him 106 points behind the lead with three races remaining.

The road to a third consecutive Funny Car title is still wide open—and Prock just made his move.
