Job Title: Smog Technician
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Smog Technician to join our team. As a Smog Technician, you will be responsible for performing smog checks on vehicles to ensure they meet emissions standards set by the state.
Responsibilities:
Perform smog checks on vehicles in compliance with state and local regulations
Diagnose and repair any issues that prevent a vehicle from passing smog tests
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles as needed.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and any necessary repairs.
Requirements:
Valid smog technician license
Valid California driver license
Knowledge of emission control systems and their components
Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers and team members
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in various positions.
