Cataldo Racing Group

Cataldo Racing Group Driver #117/118 Cataldo Racing was born of a collaboration of family ties to racing and a homegrown company.

From its creation in the early 90’s Cataldo Racing was known heavily in circle track racing by our first driver Edward M. Cataldo who raced in the pro-modified class all over New England. Over many years the Cataldo Racing brand grew threw parts sales and dedication. After a 10 year hiatus from racing, the family has returned to its original passion and family is back into racing - Kart Racing.

The company is currently organized by seniority of our drivers. The top driver is James Cataldo and second driver is Ross Cataldo. James Cataldo has had the extensive and intense training to be a winning driver and a coach to Ross Cataldo. The duo has shown lap times that rival the top tier of local completion and have their eyes set on winning a national event. Our projected schedule looks to race in regional events throughout the 2013 season and capture two local championships at our home track. For our 2014 season, Cataldo Racing will be looking have at least one driver qualifies for the national event and events of its nature. By 2015, Cataldo Racing will have looked to capture a top-level championship. In the current structure, James and Ross worked together by splitting practice-driving time in order to have two driving Perspectives. This allows the team and technology to produce the optimum results for the specific track. As well, both James and Ross perform most of the work and maintenance on the karts during and off race days. Other work is outsourced to specialists that are provided by the CRG Company. As the Cataldo Racing team grows the company by adding drivers to the competition roster. As more drivers are added,
The sponsor's exposure will grow exponentially. As the number of drivers on the team increase, the numbers of unique viewers will not increase but the numbers of drivers we add will multiply the gross number of impressions on a person. Management will expand to delegate team responsibilities allowing the drivers and technicians to focus on race related issues and not business aspect. Ross Cataldo will take over technical and management roles once another driver is found to replace him. This will allow the team to operate and continue on with its function. Karting is a fairly new sport so the cost of adding drivers can be fairly cost effective. Most drivers are entrepreneurs or small partnerships with companies. Drivers with high level of skill generally would work with our company for winnings or small salary per race. These drivers will be hand chosen by the owners in order to acquire the highest class drivers possible with confidence in their skill level. Our drivers will be involved with garage work and any kart related issues so that they understand all parts, learn technical aspects and will also help around the paddock so that they form strong team knowledge.
